The Hotchkiss Library of Sharon
The Hotchkiss Library of Sharon was founded in 1893 by Maria Hotchkiss. Its mission is to be a community center for learning, education, arts, culture, entertainment and discourse. We provide a wide area of traditional library materials and services for adults and children, as well a vast digital collection of downloadable audiobooks and eBooks. We offer many educational and entertaining programs throughout the year on topics ranging from food to politics; literature to juggling; documentary films to storytelling; history to gardening. There is Something for Everyone at the Hotchkiss Library located at 10 Upper Main Street on the historic Sharon Green.
